Osteopathy

Osteopathyis a clinical field of medicine based on knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and neurophysiology, using manual methods of diagnosis and treatment.

An osteopath views the body as a single whole, where every structure — muscles, bones, organs, blood vessels and the nervous system — is interconnected.

The osteopath’s task is to find and eliminate the root cause of a disorder, helping the body restore its natural balance and capacity for self-healing.

Osteopathy views the body as a single functional system and aims to restore the balance between the structures and functions of the body.

Osteopathic methods are applied in comprehensive medical care, prevention, rehabilitation and treatment of functional disorders.

Main areas of osteopathy

  • work with the musculoskeletal system
  • neurological and pain syndromes
  • rehabilitation after injuries and surgeries
  • care for patients of different age groups

Advantages of the osteopathic approach

  • an individual approach to each patient
  • non-invasive methods
  • a focus on causes, not only symptoms
  • high safety when medical standards are observed
